Unlimited staff seats at every tier. Attorney count is the only thing that moves the price, so adding a paralegal, a legal assistant or an office manager costs nothing. Monthly billing is available if your firm needs it, though almost everyone prefers the single annual figure.

Any per use or token charges?
No. One predictable annual fee for the firm. Your AI tools bill you separately for their own usage; Candor doesn't meter on top of that.
Does it connect to Clio or MyCase?
Yes. Clio, MyCase, Filevine, PracticePanther, and Smokeball. Your administrator authorises the connection on the platform's own site, and Candor reads the matter list when it needs it rather than copying your client list into our storage. Private integrations need a mid tier plan or above at most platforms.
Can we get our record out?
Any time, in full, without asking. A sealed export restores exactly with the hash chain intact. A readable export can be opened years from now with no Candor at all, and still carries the hashes so the chain can be checked. We would rather you never feel locked in.
Does it work inside ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes. An optional browser companion puts the screening, the citation check, and one click logging inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot, so your team does not have to open a separate app. It reads only the answer on the page, and sends out only the bare citations it needs to check.
Do we pay per user?
No. Price is set by attorney count alone, and staff seats are unlimited at every tier. Paralegals, legal assistants and office managers cost nothing to add, which matters because they are often the people pasting text into an AI tool in the first place.
How much setup is there on our end?
An account, and one button. Someone signs in, opens settings, and presses it, and the browser companion is paired on that machine. No code to copy, no server to run, no IT department. Each machine is named in the record and can be switched off on its own, which matters the day a laptop leaves the firm.
What's the commitment?
A year, billed once, so it sits in a budget rather than arriving twelve times. Monthly is available if your firm needs it. Design partners get three months free before any of that starts.
How did you land on these numbers?
Against what a firm already pays to carry the risk. A mid size firm's annual malpractice premium runs well into five figures; Candor is a fraction of one year of it, and it produces the documentation carriers have started asking about at renewal. For a sense of the other side of the ledger, a federal court in Oregon sanctioned two lawyers $110,204 in April 2026 over fabricated citations in a single brief.
